Bill Winchester Bio Image
Bill Winchester, CRPC® Managing Partner, LWWM Branch Manager, RJFS

There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”
- Ernest Hemingway

Bill Winchester has two goals in mind when working with clients: “My goal for my clients is to help them meet or exceed their well thought out financial future and to take as little risk as necessary to do so.” Bill enjoys delivering results to clients who are serious about their financial future and who are willing to work with us to build a plan designed to pursue their goals.

Bill, who entered the financial services world in 2000, spent the first 2 years of his career with AmSouth before Joining Sun Trust Investment Services (to become SunTrust Wealth and Investment Management) in 2003. Working in the investment departments of both AmSouth and SunTrust as both a licensed assistant as well as a financial advisor, Bill developed both the understanding and need that retirees have for income as well as the drive for success for his clients.

During this time Bill also strengthened his ability to synthesize data from many places and condense it into a usable and manageable financial plan. Bill carries that understanding to LWWM and utilizes that knowledge every day when analyzing each client’s personal situation and working with them to prepare a customized plan.

Bill has a degree in finance from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation. He is an alumnus of and former soccer coach at The Baylor School, Chattanooga.

Bill has been married to his wife, Ayana, since 2001, and the couple are proud parents to Hannah and Madeleine. He currently serves on the Baylor School Alumni Advisory Board and is an Executive Board Member of Make a Wish Tennessee. Bill is a former Board Member and Board Chair at the St. Peter’s School. The family attends Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church.
