Ken Chance is a Financial Advisor with Lawson Winchester. Throughout three decades of his career in business, working for major companies like Ford, Siemens, Continental and Koch Industries, Ken has focused on business analytics, economic megatrends, business development, and mergers and acquisitions. With this experience, Ken serves on LWWM’s Investment Advisory Committee. Ken also develops several investment portfolios for LWWM focusing on income and lower volatility growth.
Ken’s school years were spent near Detroit, Michigan and in the Finger Lakes region of New York, after which he moved to the Southeast. In 2013 he moved to the Chattanooga area, by way of Huntsville, Alabama and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Locally, Ken serves as President of the Appalachian Foothills Orchard, a non-profit organization whose goal is enriching our local community by preserving a multitude of varieties of native fruit and nut bearing plants. So, Ken not only is highly analytical, but he is also very practical and able to work with his hands.
Ken has Bachelor’s degrees from Cornell University in Linguistics and Michigan Tech in Mechanical Engineering, and a Master’s degree from Oakland University where he earned an MBA in Finance. Ken maintains an active certification as a Project Manager Professional with PMI.
Ken is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cleveland, TN.
