A graduate of Dalton High School, Michael attended Auburn University and received a Bachelor of Science in business. He met his wife, Jennifer, while at Auburn, and the couple currently resides on Signal Mountain with their three children, Emma, Luke, and Ben. The family attends Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church.

Michael’s interests outside of finance are decidedly outdoorsy and include playing golf, fly fishing, snow skiing and coaching his kids’ sports teams. Michael is on the board of The Roman Open and The Mountain Education Foundation.
