Kay Hughes is a Senior Wealth Advisor and CFP® at Lawson Winchester Wealth Management. Kay works directly with clients and their families to help them achieve their goals both personally and financially. She works closely with her clients to implement a customized strategy that helps meet those goals while taking the client’s individual risk tolerance into consideration. Kay strives to provide all her clients with the best client experience possible. 

 

Kay grew up in Chattanooga and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 1990. She began her professional career working as an examiner for the FDIC after college.  She later moved to Memphis and earned her MBA from the University of Memphis in 2004. Kay transitioned to the investment advisory field in 2005.  In addition to being an investment advisor representative, she is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and she has held a Series 65 securities license since 2005.

 

Kay moved back to Chattanooga in 2008 and stays busy with softball, rowing, and building homes with Amor Ministries.  She is a board member of Lookout Rowing Club.
